At Buzz Boss, our commitment to making a positive impact on global health remains unwavering. We’re thrilled to update you on the continued strides we are making in partnership with the Red Cross, particularly through our dedicated efforts to combat mosquito-borne diseases in developing countries. Your ongoing support and the recent $5,000 donation from 2023 have played a vital role in advancing our shared mission.

The Battle Against Mosquito-Borne Diseases

Approximately 390 million people are infected each year with dengue, and hundreds of thousands more are affected by Zika, chikungunya, and yellow fever.

In regions like Africa, Asia, and Central America, mosquito-borne diseases pose a significant threat to the health of children and pregnant/nursing mothers. Buzz Boss has taken a stand against these diseases, and our collaboration with the Red Cross has proven to be an effective tool in this fight.

A Long-Standing Partnership & A Promise to Make a Difference

Buzz Boss and the Red Cross have been partners since our inception with a commitment to donate $2 for every new BuzzShield® Complete sale each year. Through this initiative, we have collectively donated a total of $20,694 to support the Red Cross’s crucial work in eradicating mosquito-borne diseases.

Funding the Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health Program

We’re pleased to announce that the latest addition to our donations will contribute to the Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health Program.

This initiative provides health, education, supplies, curative care, and mobile health clinics to vulnerable communities. The funds will go toward crucial resources such as medical equipment, life-saving drugs, health responders, bed nets, clean water, and nutrition.

Impact and Achievements

Red Cross’s Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health programs have reached over 13 million direct beneficiaries in 24 countries across the Americas, Africa, and Asia in the past decade.

The programs, delivered in collaboration with Ministries of Health and Red Cross partners, focus on strengthening communities and health systems and ultimately saving lives.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each Buzz Boss subscriber for their continuous support, enabling us to contribute to the Red Cross’s impactful Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health Program. As we celebrate the achievements made so far, we eagerly anticipate next year’s report, confident that together, we are making a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most.
